Woo Juhyeon did whatever it took to make money.

After all, money was the only thing keeping him going through his harsh, unforgiving life.

That was why he had swiped the wallet of a suspicious man who had suddenly appeared out of nowhere. All for the measly two hundred thousand won he’d get for stealing it.

“The pay’s too damn low. I’ll top it up for you. How about we work together?”

Yet, despite knowing full well that Juhyeon had stolen his wallet, the man made a cryptic proposal instead.

A ten-million-won cleaning job.

Though the offer was beyond suspicious, Juhyeon still went to the rendezvous point.

She never dreamed she would witness a murder there.

“Clean it up. Let’s see how fast your hands really are.”

If she had known the “cleaning” he meant was disposing of a corpse, she never would have come.

“You can’t go into a coffin without spending the money you scraped together while getting beaten to a pulp, can you?”

Juhyeon had no choice but to accept his offer. Otherwise, after the person stabbed to death with an awl and the cigarette crushed into a palm…
